Happy New Year, everyone! I’m looking forward what’s to come in 2017, seeing as 2016 may have been my favorite yet! A start to the new year means a fresh, winter-styled clothing rack. This is absolutely one of my favorite pieces to style because the options are endless. I style my garment rack based on the season, holiday, and mood. It can certainly be a piece that brings color to a room or even used to prep outfits for upcoming events. My focus for this edition was minimalism – classic black and white, neutral, winter staples. Choose your favorite patterns to mix and make it pop. I use staple pieces as a base and add fun, trendy pieces for flare. To me, winter is best described by this neutral palette. An easy way to draw more interest and style to your garment rack is to accessorize: add bags, hats, purses, shoes, scarves, etc. Tip: use pant hangers to best display hats! When I bought this vintage, iron garment rack years ago, my dream for it was to be placed on old wood floors, by a window, surrounded by high ceilings – I am SO happy and grateful to have seen the day!
